No white Christmas this year either, temperatures might rise to 18°C in Hungary!

It looks like there will be no white Christmas in Hungary, as temperatures might rise to 18 degrees Celsius.

It will not be any colder, nor will there be any snow this week, according to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu and other portals.

Tuesday

In the morning, there may form a damp, dense fog, which might stay in less windy southern, central and northern parts of Hungary, in other places the weather is expected to be sunny, dry and windy. Southerly winds will be brisk, in the North-West strong and stormy. Dawn will be mild; frost may only appear in a few places. In the afternoon it will be between 10 to 17 degrees Celsius according to Időkép, while OMSZ expects it between 9 and 18 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday

The next two days’ weather will be similar, at dawn, it will be damp and foggy in many places, and in some, the fog will last. There will not be a significant amount of rain, on the Northern parts of the Transdanubia Southern, South West winds may be brisk and strong. After the mild morning, the highest temperatures will be around 10-15 degrees Celsius. 

Friday

The morning fog clouds will disappear quickly, the Southern wind will arise, in Transdanubia, it will be intense and stormy, so the skies will be clear in many places. In the early morning, temperatures will be between 1 and 9, while in the afternoon they will rise to 9-15 degrees Celsius.

Weekend

On Saturday overcast, cloudy skies are expected over the weekend, rains and showers are expected in the West. The wind will pick up and strengthen. The lowest temperatures are expected between 3 and 9, the highest between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius.

Sunday will have sporadic showers and rains, the lowest the temperature will go will be between 1 to 6 degrees, and during the day it will warm up to 5-10 degrees Celsius.
